The Brief

Halfords wanted to ensure they are the UK’s number one for Motoring and Cycling. They embarked on a circa £60m Digital Transformation to ensure they have a single view of their customer and brought unity between their business divisions. Uniting Ambition partnered to enhance the Halfords technology division with plans to hire 40 individuals who can support this transformation. Several hiring challenges around culture, availability of the top niche quartile talent, and location-based work in the Midlands and London made the hiring process difficult.


The Solution

Uniting Ambition initially worked closely with the Group IT Director and the Head of Delivery to help build a high-performing team, working through the key priorities each area of the technology team required talent.
