Successful hires
Ignite AI were a start-up consisting of the two founders, Neil and Craig. Uniting Ambition had worked with both Neil and Craig in previous companies, building high performance teams, so Uniting Ambition are partners they trust. As they started to win work, they needed to bring in resource at speed, initially contractors to support with statement of work or proof of concept projects. Once they had a number of projects in the pipeline, we also provided permanent resource for architecture and software engineering.
We needed to find some of the most hotly contested skills in AI and project management, the best in their field, who can solve complex problems, face demanding (new) enterprise scale clients, and “almost” see into the future of AI to help build the consultancy. These candidates needed to be available at short notice, be happy working in a start-up with the uncertainty that brings, be client facing with incredible communication skills, as well as be the best technical skills available in the UK!
Uniting Ambition initially worked closely with the co-founders to build a team consisting of both permanent and interim talent, which meant they could ramp up to deliver projects when needed. We mapped the market out to find the right talent to support this growth. The project required market insight including salary and day rate benchmarking, talent pool insight, a search approach, ensuring culture fit, managing and co-ordinating the interview process with the hiring managers.
