Technical Lead – React Native (Hybrid )

Location: London (Hybrid, 2–3 days onsite)

Overview

A senior technical leadership role defining and driving hybrid mobile strategy across large-scale iOS and Android applications serving millions of users. You’ll shape how React Native and WebView solutions are introduced into a complex native ecosystem, balancing speed of delivery with performance, stability, and scalability.

What You’ll Do

• Own the React Native and hybrid mobile strategy across iOS and Android
• Decide when to use hybrid vs fully native approaches
• Lead architecture, spikes, and proof-of-concepts
• Define integration patterns between React Native, Swift, and Kotlin
• Set standards for packaging, versioning, and native module bridging
• Partner with iOS/Android architects on cross-platform design decisions
• Drive experimentation with WebView and config-driven experiences
• Remove architectural blockers impacting delivery and reliability
• Mentor engineers and uplift hybrid engineering capability

What You Bring

• Strong production experience with React Native at scale
• Excellent JavaScript / TypeScript and modern React knowledge
• Working knowledge of Swift and Kotlin
• Experience integrating React Native into native mobile apps
• Strong understanding of mobile performance and platform constraints
• Experience in complex, multi-team engineering environments
