Uniting Ambition are partnering with an organisation that is currently undergoing a significant Oracle Fusion Finance transformation. As part of this programme, they require an experienced Oracle Data Fusion Financials Migration Lead to take full responsibility for data migration delivery across key Finance modules.

The Role:

The appointed Oracle Data Migration Lead will be central to the successful migration of data into Oracle Fusion Financials, spanning GL, AP, AR, P2P and PO. This position is not hands-on from a technical perspective — instead, it calls for a consultant with strong functional expertise in Oracle Finance, paired with the project leadership capability to oversee end-to-end data migration.

You will be accountable for defining the migration approach, sequencing workstreams, managing dependencies, and ensuring that technical PMs and delivery resources are aligned. Alongside this, you will work closely with the business to support cleansing, validation and reconciliation activities, ensuring that accurate, reconciled data is loaded into Fusion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead planning and execution of data migration across GL, AP, AR, P2P and PO.

• Define and oversee all extract, transform, load and reconciliation activities.

• Direct technical PMs and data migration teams to ensure consistent delivery aligned to programme timelines.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to drive data cleansing, validation and reconciliation cycles.

• Provide functional input on supplier, customer and invoice data structures, subledger accounting and the integration with the General Ledger.

• Develop migration strategies and plans that integrate with wider programme schedules, including testing.

• Communicate with senior stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure key deliverables are achieved.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Proven background leading data migration across large Oracle Fusion / EBS Finance transformation programmes.

• Strong functional understanding of AP, AR, PO, GL and P2P processes and associated data models.

• Good understanding of subledger to GL accounting and reconciliation processes.

• Experience designing and driving end-to-end data migration (ETL and reconciliation).

• Demonstrated project management capability, including sequencing, dependency management and integration with programme test cycles.

• Experience directing technical PMs and delivery teams.

• Strong communication skills and gravitas to influence stakeholders and lead business engagement.
