The Client;

My Client are seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect to lead the architectural definition of a new Evidence Request and Retrieval capability. This capability will enable the organisation to curate evidence requirements, issue requests for information, and facilitate the secure submission of evidence from customers and other parties across multiple digital channels.

The role will focus on determining how best to deliver this capability using our existing technology estate while balancing customer experience, operational efficiency, security, scalability and long-term maintainability.

The Role

Working closely with enterprise, solution and domain architects, technical teams, delivery leads and business stakeholders, you will be responsible for defining the architectural approach for the Evidence Request and Retrieval capability.

You will lead the development of a Solution Vision, articulating:

• The problem statement and desired outcomes
• Architectural options and approaches
• Key business, technical and operational considerations
• Risks, assumptions and constraints
• A recommended delivery approach and roadmap

Building upon the Solution Vision, you will produce a proportionate High-Level Design (HLD) that provides direction for engineering teams, and subsequently work alongside delivery teams to support the creation of detailed Low-Level Designs (LLDs).

Documentation should be pragmatic and developed iteratively alongside proof-of-concepts, spikes and conceptual builds, ensuring architecture remains grounded in delivery reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the architectural vision for the Evidence Request and Retrieval capability.
• Assess and recommend the appropriate use of Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Azure services and existing digital platforms.
• Evaluate architectural options across customer channels and supporting operational processes.
• Produce solution architecture artefacts including Solution Vision, HLDs and supporting design documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure architecture can be effectively translated into implementation designs.
• Engage with security, identity, data and operational stakeholders to ensure non-functional requirements are appropriately addressed.
• Support discovery activities, technical spikes and proof-of-concept development.
• Present recommendations and technical concepts to both business and technical audiences.

Skills and Experience

We are looking for an architect who combines strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

Essential experience includes:

• Architecture and solution design within the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
• Dynamics 365 and Power Pages solution architecture.
• Azure integration and cloud-native architectures.
• Identity and access management concepts, including customer identity solutions.
• API-led integration and event-driven architectures.
• Producing architectural artefacts proportionate to delivery needs.
• Leading technical discussions with both business and technology stakeholders.
• Working within multi-disciplinary agile delivery teams.
