Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Engineer

Contract | £600-£700 per day | Outside IR35 | Initial 3 Months
Remote with occasional UK travel

A global consulting organisation is seeking an experienced Salesforce Pre-Sales Solution Engineer to support enterprise Salesforce transformation opportunities across the UK.

This is a customer-facing role focused on opportunity qualification, discovery, solution design and commercial bid support. Working closely with sales, architects and delivery teams, you'll help shape complex Salesforce solutions and support the successful conversion of new business opportunities.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Salesforce expertise with consulting, stakeholder management and pre-sales experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer discovery workshops, assessments and opportunity qualification
• Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions aligned to business and customer outcomes
• Produce solution roadmaps, architecture artefacts and implementation approaches
• Support RFI/RFP responses, effort estimation, pricing activities and Statements of Work
• Deliver customer presentations, demonstrations and solution recommendations
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technical stakeholders
• Support sales-to-delivery handover, ensuring clear transition of designs, assumptions, risks and estimates
• Work with sales and consulting teams to secure new Salesforce transformation opportunities

Required Experience

• Salesforce Solution Engineering, Solution Architecture or Pre-Sales Consulting experience
• Strong Salesforce Service Cloud expertise
• Experience facilitating discovery workshops and gathering business requirements
• Experience supporting bids, proposals, RFPs or commercial pursuits
• Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and executive audiences
• Strong presentation, communication and consulting skills

Contract Details

• £600-£700 per day (Outside IR35)
• Higher rates available for proven Agentforce pre-sales experience
• Initial 3-month contract
• Remote-first with occasional UK travel
• Long-term programme of work with likely extensions
